Our Postpartum & Newborn Education services are designed to guide you through the early days of parenthood, providing the knowledge and skills you need to navigate recovery and care for your baby with confidence.
Postpartum Home Visit (2 hours):
Becca will visit your home 3–5 days after birth to provide hands-on support, including:
Assistance with recovery and newborn care.
Belly binding tutorial to help with postpartum healing.
Addressing questions about feeding, sleep, or recovery.
Lactation Support (2 hours):
Our lactation support is designed to prepare both you and your partner for breastfeeding success and provide hands-on assistance postpartum when milk comes in. With her expertise and compassionate approach, Arielle will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel confident and supported. You can choose one or both options to fit your needs:
Prenatal (37–39 Weeks):
Arielle will visit your home to:Teach you what to expect feeding-wise in the early days.
Guide you through pump setup and hand expression techniques.
Measure for proper flange size to ensure comfort and effectiveness.
Partner Education: Show dads/partners how to support with hand expression, clean and set up the pump, and create a stress-free feeding environment.
Postpartum (When Milk Comes In):
Arielle will provide in-home support to help navigate the early days of breastfeeding, including:Assistance with latching and positioning.
Troubleshooting common issues such as engorgement or soreness.
Guidance on maintaining or increasing milk supply.
Partner Education: Teach partners how to recognize feeding cues, help with positioning during nursing sessions, and manage logistics like water/snacks for mom or soothing the baby while preparing to feed.
Arielle’s personalized guidance ensures that both you and your partner feel equipped to tackle breastfeeding with confidence and ease, making it a rewarding experience for the whole family!
Newborn Care Education:
Learn essential skills for caring for your baby, including:Bathing, swaddling, and diapering techniques.
Reading newborn cues for hunger, sleep, and comfort.
Tips for soothing and bonding with your little one.
