Our Prenatal Classes are designed with dads and partners in mind, ensuring you feel prepared, confident, and ready to support your partner during this incredible journey. These sessions focus on building your skills and understanding so you can step into your role with ease.

Each session is thoughtfully designed to be 2 hours long, providing ample time for in-depth preparation and personalized guidance.

  • 30-Week Zoom Visit: Discuss your goals as a support person, address questions, and learn how to help your partner feel calm and empowered. This session lays the foundation for your role throughout the rest of the pregnancy and birth process. This foundational session combines support strategies and birth education, helping you:

    • Understand your role as the primary support person during pregnancy and labor.

    • Learn the basics of the labor process, including the stages of labor and common terminology.

    • Explore ways to emotionally and physically support your partner as they navigate the third trimester.

    • Start exploring your shared vision for the birth experience to lay the foundation for a collaborative and supportive plan.

  • 35-Week Zoom Visit: Dive deeper into birth preparation and education, including:

    • Comfort measures such as counter pressure, massage techniques, and emotional support.

    • Understanding the stages of labor and what to expect during each phase.

    • Creating a birth plan and learning how to confidently advocate for your partner’s wishes and needs.

    • Preparing for unexpected scenarios, like changes in the birth plan or medical interventions, so you feel ready to advocate effectively.

  • 38-Week In-Home Visit: Hands-on preparation in your own space, including:

    • Practicing labor support techniques tailored to your partner’s preferences.

    • Setting up your birth environment for comfort and relaxation.

    • Finalizing last-minute details to help you feel confident and ready.

    These sessions ensure you have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to be the best possible support person during labor and delivery, creating a meaningful and empowered experience for you and your partner.
